QuarkChain is a high-performance next-generation blockchain platform designed to solve the scalability problem, which is one of the main issues facing current blockchain systems.
QuarkChain uses a two-level structure. The first level consists of independent blockchains (shards) for processing transactions. The second level, the main blockchain (root), confirms the blocks of these shards. QuarkChain supports transactions between different shards.
