Monday (August 4): Binance Alpha will launch DarkStar (DARK) and Cycle Network (CYC) on August 4.

Wednesday (August 6): Etherex will launch the token REX on August 6. Etherex is a DEX launched in collaboration by Linea, Consensys, and Nile, which serves as an upgraded version of Nile Exchange, built on Ramses v3 technology and centered around the x33 token economics model. Its native token REX will be distributed as liquidity rewards to liquidity providers, with 100% of the transaction fees directly allocated to xREX voters. Users can exchange REX for xREX and vote to support their preferred pools.

Brazilian lawmakers are preparing to debate a new cryptocurrency tax proposal put forward by President Lula, which will impose a fixed fee of 17.5% on all transactions. Compared to the old tax system, it eliminates the income tax exemption for small trading businesses and targets decentralized finance activities through a temporary measure that took effect in June. The deadline for the decision is October 8; if the measure is not approved by this date, it will expire.

Thursday (August 7): U.S. President Trump signed an executive order imposing tariffs ranging from 15% to 41% on goods exported to the United States from 67 trading partners, raising tariff levels to the highest in over a century. However, the new tariffs will not take effect until August 7, rather than the previously planned August 1, giving countries another window to attempt to negotiate lower tariffs.

The Hong Kong RWA registration and registration platform will be launched on August 7, initiated by the Hong Kong Web3.0 Standardization Association, which will connect the entire process service system of dataization, assetization, and financialization of RWA asset tokenization.
