What Are the Differences Between Stable Liquidity Pools?
Every blockchain has its own main stablecoins, and naturally, they compete with each other – much like in modern markets. While monopolisation is quite common, on different blockchains, different stablecoins take the lead in terms of user adoption.
On the TON blockchain, since 2024, the most popular stablecoin has been USDT. There are numerous liquidity pools with USDT
on STON fi , many of which offer attractive interest rates. On this DEX, liquidity pools exist for both the most popular stablecoins and some less common ones.
The difference between these pools lies not only in the tokens themselves but also in how the pools function. There are stable liquidity pools labelled WSTABLE POOLS and STABLE POOLS. At first glance, their names might seem similar, but in reality, they have key operational differences.
The main distinction is that WSTABLE POOLS give users far greater flexibility. In these pools, you can choose the exact ratio of tokens you want to deposit from your wallet.
WSTABLE pools also tend to have lower slippage, thanks to their reduced impact on pricing. If you adjust your token ratio optimally for the system, you can even provide liquidity with zero slippage.
However, WSTABLE pools come with a significant drawback – they usually have lower overall liquidity than STABLE pools. This is often due to users’ lower trust in wrapped versions of tokens, such as $tsUSDe.
The main WSTABLE liquidity pools on STON fi are:
$tsUSDe / $USDe – 15%
$tsTON / $TON – 10%
